In the City of Detroit the number of fires is so staggering, no apparent number is recorded. With our efforts and your support, we can first reduce the immediate impact of house fires on Detroit area families.  By joining with other community efforts, we can also reduce the number of fires that occur.



Through our affiliate, Estate Sale Resale, Fire Victims United accepts monetary and merchandise donations toward our goal . Please consider supporting us in the following ways:

Fire Victims United receives donations from various sources who want to support our efforts and who understand that as a 501(c)3 Corporation, they receive tax benefits. There is an ongoing need to assist with:
  • stocking our shelves
  • ensuring the cleanliness and good repair of our merchandise
  • helping customers who visit the store
  • assisting with pickup of merchandise
  • assisting in our call center with donation requests
  • other tasks that go into the running of the business.

Your volunteer efforts help us to keep costs at a minimum so that the maximum proceeds go to our clients - the victims of fire.
Any resellable item -- furniture, clothing, tools, household decor, art, etc. -- clean and in good repair is accepted. Cash donations are also accepted. ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE. By appointment, you can drop off your items or we can schedule a pickup within a 20 mile radius.
